Intro to American Sign Language (ASL) (Grades 3rd-6th): This course is an introduction to American Sign Language. It creates a visual-gestural environment that introduces ASL grammar and vocabulary without presenting English equivalents. This course includes interactive activities, cultural awareness education, and individual feedback.

Cub Coders: (Grades 3rd-6th): We teach coding through exclusive themes (such as Animals, Sport and Magic) that engage children’s imagination and make coding even more fun. Younger coders will learn with block-based platforms, such as Scratch or CoSpaces, while older students will code with text-based languages, such as Javascript and Python. Students will need a laptop for this class!

French Class: (Grades 3rd-6th): This class is perfect for kids that want to learn about the most elegant language in the world! Students will learn the basics of the French language through fun activities, games, and songs. Students will learn the diphthongs, alphabet, numbers, greetings, basic phrases and basic vocabulary! French culture is one of the most famous in the world, so, students will be able to take a tour through the different districts of France!

Improv: This course will be designed to be a creative outlet for students. It will be largely improv and therefore basic ground rules regarding appropriateness and proper conduct will be set on day one, but students will be left with ample room for creative expression. Instructor and students will engage in improvisational sketches that we as a group design during the first session. Students will be given a list of suggestions, but the aim of the instructor is to guide students through the process of selecting their own material.

Financial Literacy: (JH & HS):Using project-based instruction and real-world situations this course will give students the knowledge and general understanding of all key aspects of personal finances necessary to be successful now and throughout their adult lives. The structure of this class will reflect real-world situations as closely as possible.

SAT & ACT Prep: (HS): Our test prep course is a comprehensive course that provides thorough preparation for all areas of the exam. It covers content reviews to promote content mastery and teaches students the most dynamic and updated strategy and methods available. We have completely deconstructed each test and our students learn to think like the test makers. Students build their skills each week and increase their confidence level over the span of the course. Our course requires students to work hard and exhibit effort and dedication to their studies.
