  • All-American Wrestling Team Camp

    All-American Wrestling Camp June 4-6, 2024 The All-American Wrestling Camp provides technical training from National Champion and All-American wrestling clinicians as well as the opportunity for young wrestlers to put their newly acquired skills to the test in a competition format. This camp has the highest quality instruction at an unbelievable value. Team Camp Format: The format of the camp was one of the most valuable aspects of the camp for many coaches and athletes that have attended in the previous years. In this format athletes and coaches will be instructed by a featured clinician in a large group for 1 hour and then they will be able to choose 2 additional 45-minute breakout sessions that they would like to see. This allows athletes and coaches to choose the technique sessions that best fits their wrestling style. In the afternoon session the athletes will be given the opportunity to try out their newly acquired skills in a dual meet competition format. Team Camp Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 9-11:30 a.m.– Technique session* 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.– Lunch/Recreation 1-4 p.m.– Dual Meets Grades 8th-12th Camp Pricing Team Camp- $1000 for a full team (up to 14 wrestlers) $500 for additional half teams (up to 7 additional wrestlers).     Hollywood Filmmaking Camp: From the writer’s room to the silver screen, we'll guide you as you turn your idea into an amazing script, and then we'll help you bring it to life! All students are divided into production teams; together, they'll brainstorm their ideas, and then collaboratively draft a script with a part for everyone. As students work, we'll hold group workshops, where we help them with their script formatting, character design, dialogue and more! Then we move onto filming! Students will act out their own scripts, starring in the parts they themselves wrote. They'll also take turns behind the camera, shooting with iPads. We'll give guidance to students as they star in, film, and edit their movies with experienced advice on special effects and green-screen editing, shot composition and panning, lighting and sound effects. Game Design and Animation with Scratch and Python: Embark on an unparalleled adventure with our Game Design and Animation Class - a unique, project-based learning experience that infuses the charm of storytelling with the power of coding. This course is meticulously designed to spark the inherent creativity in young minds and foster their innovative storytelling and game designing capabilities. Junior Alchemists Camp: Chemistry for Kids- is designed to not only pique an interest in scientific inquiry, but to introduce students to a deeper understanding of its development and application. We allow them to see the basic principles of science in the world around them. The course is focused on a number of experiments; they are tons of fun, visually appealing, and can safely be reproduced at home for friends and family. Olympic Chess Camp: Learn chess with Athena! We’ve designed a high-energy, stimulating approach to chess that is great for all ages. Classes are typically divided into different skill levels. Students will spend much of their time playing each other and challenging the instructor. At the beginning of each class, we have a brief question and answer session on a certain topic, challenging students with exercises and puzzles. Students learn piece types, movements, captures, positioning, basic strategy, and move on to advanced topics such as openings, pins, forks, and skewers, Middle and Endgame strategy and tactics, and chess variants. Each class ends in a tournament where the winner takes home a trophy! Minecraft Coding and Design Studio: Minecraft isn't just the world's most popular game; it's also an excellent tool for teaching a wide array of subjects.
