    The Community Education Department is excited about the opportunities to reach our community through traditional and non-traditional recreation sports. Chandler Sports League offers soccer, basketball, flag football, cheer and volleyball for K - 6th grade throughout the school year. Our purpose will be to provide high quality events, leagues, clinics, and tournaments to better serve our CUSD community. The Chandler Sports League focus on FUN and TEAMWORK with a fast and energetic atmosphere. Game dates may change during these unprecedented times (closures, irrigation ect.) As we gear up for another exciting year with our Chandler Unified School District’s Programs, we wanted to take a moment to outline our expectations to ensure a positive and successful experience for all participants. Our focus remains on creating a safe, encouraging, and respectful environment that fosters growth, teamwork, and personal development for our students. 1. Communication and Concerns: If you have any concerns or questions about the program, we encourage you to reach out directly to our Program Specialist, Jackie Truelove, at truelove.jacklyn@cusd80.com. Open communication is essential to addressing any issues promptly and effectively. 2. Social Media Etiquette: We kindly ask all participants, staff, and parents to refrain from posting negative comments or content related to the Cheer Program on social media. If you have feedback or concerns, please follow our established communication channels, and discuss them with Jackie. Let's ensure that our online presence reflects the positive values and goals of our program. 3. Positive Environment: Maintaining a positive atmosphere is crucial to the success of our Cheer Program. We emphasize the importance of treating all students, staff, and parents with respect and kindness. Yelling at students or any form of physical contact that might be perceived as harmful or disrespectful is strictly prohibited. Let's work together to build each other up and inspire our students to shine. 4. I understand that CUSD Enrichment & Site staff/coaches reserves the right to withdraw my child(ren) due to continuing behaviors that present a danger to self or others or any other violations of school or department policies. 5.   • Club CUSD Enrichment

    Welcome to Club CUSD Enrichment program offered by CUSD approved organizations/vendors. Our goal is to provide fun and quality educational classes year-round for students of all ages. Our vendors/organizations specialize in a variety of areas such as sports, science, technology, drama, music, and standardized testing preparedness for SAT & ACT. With this partnership, we are able to offer over 250 classes each semester. Most classes are available after school; however, we have programs that are also offered before school, evenings, Saturdays, during fall, spring and summer breaks. Other vendors not listed below are: Activstars, Athletes in Training, Arizona Tennis Association, Girls on the Run, Reach Basketball and Under the Lights Flag Football. (Free intersession/break camps are for current Chandler USD enrolled students only). The following sports related programs are fee based (not free) and open to non-CUSD students. The vendors are: Reach Basketball, Soccer Shots, Athletes in Training, ActivStars & TGA Sports -Pickleball. Duplicate enrollments in the same class, or different classes on the same days and times will be removed from the roster. Classes must meet the minimum enrollment requirements. All classes are non-refundable. For extenuating circumstances processing, attendance and missed classes fees apply.

    Different Enrichment programs such as Drama Class, Media Class, Robotics, Math Club, Spanish Club, Steel Band Club and many other options are held throughout the Chandler School District in a variety of Schools. Look to see what your school is offering. Please note cancellation of enrollment will require a processing fee and teacher approval.

  • Summer Learning Recovery Elementary

    Summer Learning recovery classes focus on ELA, Math and Integrated problem-based learning experiences. Enroll in the grade level that corresponds with your grade in 2023-2024. Program is for students enrolled in Title 1 funded schools in 2023-2024. Program Location: HARTFORD ELEMENTARY @ 700 N Hartford Street, Chandler, AZ 85225 & SHUMWAY ELELEMTARY @ l1325 N Shumway Ave, Chandler, AZ 85225. Program Dates: K- 6: Mon.- Thurs. June 3rd - June 20th **Please note that the site that you have enrolled at may change based on the number of enrollments at that site. We will notify you via phone and email if this happens. ***ATTENDANCE is mandatory for Summer Learning. Upon the third absence student will be dis-enrolled. Transportation will be provided from specific hubs/schools in the area only to Hartford El. & Shumway El. If needed, please click here to add to the shopping cart for each student before you checkout.

    Summer Learning recovery classes focus on ELA, Math and Integrated problem-based learning experiences and integration of a science engineering project that reinforces concepts covered in the 23-24 school year. Teacher recommendation suggested but not required. Enroll in the grade level that corresponds with your grade in 2023-2024. Program Location: TARWATER El. at 2300 S Gardner Dr, Chandler, AZ 85286. Program Dates: K-6: Mon.- Thurs. June 3rd - June 20th from 8:30am-11:30am (REGISTRATION OPENS FEB 28th) ***ATTENDANCE is mandatory for Summer Learning. **Please note that this program is open to CUSD families only. ** Cancellations: On/before April 15th -5% processing fee applies** Cancellations April 16th-April 30th-50% Refund; ** NO REFUNDS ON/AFTER MAY 1ST . Transportation is not available. Meals: Please have student bring a water bottle and snack/sack lunch as lunch is not provided. Childcare: K-6 at Basha Elementary: Kids Express Summer Break Camp. Kids Express (KE) will offer reduced pricing day camp for Summer Academy students that are enrolled in from 8:30am-11:30am. Kids Express-Basha El. with transport from KE to Tarwater El. and back to KE Basha El. at 8:30am AND 11:30am. There is no transportation for classes prior to 8:30am. Spots are limited. REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 20th.
