    CHS Lady Wolves JV Basketball Summer League When: Mondays and Wednesdays June 2- June 18th games start at 4, 5, 6, 7 pm Where: Chandler High School Time: Games start at 4, 5, 6, 7 pm Cost: $450.00 Please make Checks payable to: CUSD Community Education Please send checks to: (Please attach the flyer to the check when sending in) CUSD Community Education 1525 W Frye Rd Chandler AZ 85224 Tournament & Awards: A four-team gold bracket will be comprised of the top 4 teams and a 4- team silver bracket will be made of the remaining four teams. Bracket Champions will receive a championship trophy and All-League team of 1O players will be chosen by coaches. Games: Two 20-minute running clock halves will be played, stop time the final two minutes if game is within 10 points. Only team fouls will be tracked. Free throws will be 1 for two, unless the game is in final two minutes of a close game, then it will be traditional rules on shooting/bonus fouls. Coaches have two timeouts per half, timeouts do not roll over. All games are officiated by 2 referees.     CHS Southwest Wrestling Academy (March-April)

    CHS Southwest Wrestling-March 3- April 10th (6 week Session) Wrestling gives young athletes the opportunity to develop strength, conditioning, agility, balance, flexibility, and great work ethic. We provide technical skills and physical development for all levels of experience with ample opportunity for students to hone their skills with live wrestling. Head Coach: Curtis Owen-NCAA D-I All- American Fo ASU, NJCAA National Champion for North Idaho College, 3 years Head Coach of Sunkist Wrestling Academy, 20 years of varsity coaching at Chandler High School. Assistant Coaches: Michael Fujimori- wrestled for the Clackamas CC and then for ASU. Michael has 4 years of head high school coaching experience and is currently a varsity coach at Chandler High School Manny Reyes- AZ state Runner-up for Chandler High School. Wrestled 4 years at Dickinson State University. Over 10 years of coaching youth and high school wrestlers. Vidal Mejia-Head Coach of Chandler High School for over 20 years. 2012 Coach of the year and 2024 Inductee into the AZ Wrestling Hall of Fame. Victor Combs-Head Coach of Payne JH and has over 20 years of youth- high school coaching experience. Dates: March 3- April 10th (6-week session) Practice Times: Beginners: M & Th- 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Int/Adv: M-Th- 6:15 - 8:00 p.m. Drop In: Any individual day M-Th (one time practice fee) Practice Location: Chandler High School North Campus: 191 W.     Chandler Beginner Wrestling Tournament(s)

    Chandler Beginner Wrestling Tournament(s) This series of folkstyle tournaments is for athletes that are newer to the sport of wrestling (2 years or less of experience). This is an opportunity for wrestler's grades K-8 to gain valuable competitive experience with other wrestlers of similar ability and experience levels. Athletes will be placed in groups based on age and weight and wrestle in a round-robin format. Dates: There will be a tournament held on each of the following Wednesdays: March 26, April 23, May 21 Tournament start times: Check-in 4:30-5:15 p.m. The tournament will run from 5:30-8 p.m. Tournament location: Chandler High School Wrestling Room located at 191 W. Oakland St. The parking lot for the wrestling room is just east of the football field.
