Lil' Explorers Early Childhood Development Centers provide nurturing care and developmentally appropriate educational experiences for children birth through Pre-Kindergarten.

Program Description: Fifth-grade students will work with a partner and use BitsBox Volumes 1 - 4 to explore JavaScript coding to create apps and custom commands in a kid-friendly online platform! Bitsbox is a coding program for kids. Students will be introduced to coordinates, variables, conditionals, functions, loops, find/replace, functions and more!
Grades Levels of Students (Min and Max): 5th Graders
Session Dates and times: Monday Mornings from 7:45am-8:30am
Fall Session: 10/14/24-12/16/24 (No club meeting on 11/11/24)
Winter Session: 1/13/25-3/3/25 (No club meetings on 1/20 or 2/17)
Spring Session: 3/31/25-5/12/25
Location = CTA-Independence Elementary School (Tech Lab)
Cost per Participant: Prices differ due to class sessions offered in each session
