World Drumming 101 at Riggs

Program Description: This class is an introduction to drumming styles and instruments from all over the world. Students will learn about different cultures, their music and how it is used, and will learn to play drumming patterns on hand drums. There will be an end of quarter performance, where students can show off the cool music they’ve learned.

Grades Levels of Students (Min and Max): 3-6

Start and End Date Program: August 7th-September 18th

Time and Days of the week: Thursdays 3:05-4:15- No Club 8/21 (Due to parent teacher conferences)

Location (School and Room/Area): Riggs Room C28

Cost per Participant: $99

Registration Min/Max number of Participants: 15-30
