Eligibility:
1.Open to any Arizona high school student-athlete currently participating with an Arizona High School team meeting AIA eligibility and any out of state high school team student-athletes whose participation has been approved by AIA.
2.The 200 Free and 200 IM entries will be limited to a maximum of five (5) heats, while the 500 Free entries will be limited to a maximum off our (4) heats. Swimmers that enter, but do not qualify for the heats offered can be entered into a different event. All other individual, relay, and swimmer limits still apply to any revision of entries. Teams are allowed ONE (1) entry revision.
3.This is a themed competition with all athletes, coaches, volunteers, and spectators encouraged to dress in your favorite 1970's attire!
Events Offered: All Swim Events
Event Structure: Pre-Seeded Timed Finals
Facility: Two outdoor 25 yard courses. Boys' pool (west) is 8 lanes. Girls' pool (middle) is 10 lanes. Warm up/down pool is 5-6 lanes in the east tank.
Entry Rules:
1.The current AIA Rules of Competitive Swimming and Diving will govern.
2.The AIA controlled meet warm-up procedure will be enforced. Feet first entry into the warm up lanes will be enforced. Dive entries may only occur in lanes specifically designated by the meet referee during warm up.
3.Deck changing is strictly prohibited.
4.The 200 Free and 200 IM entries are limited to the fastest FIVE (5) heats and the 500 Free entries are limited to the fastest FOUR (4) heats. Any swimmers not making the respective allocated heats will be automatically scratched and the coach will be allowed to submit ONE (1) team entry revision by Sunday, October 5th at 12:00 PM (noon).

6.Entry times must be the swimmer's best Short Course Yard time for that event or NT (No Time). You may use a previous season's time.
7.Each TEAM is limited to FOUR (4) swimmers/divers per individual event and ONE (1) relay entry per relay event. All student-athletes are limited to a maximum of FOUR (4) events (individual plus relay) for the meet, with a maximum of TWO (2) individual events. Student-athletes may enter up to a maximum of 2 individual events plus 2 relay events OR 1 individual event plus 3 relay events.
8.Coaches must list relay names, up to eight (8) per relay, when entries are submitted. Only the eight (8) athletes listed on a team's entry list are eligible to participate on the specific relay in which they are listed. See rule 3, section 2 of the NFHS Swimming and Diving Rules Book for additional entry rules & limitations.
9.Time trials will not be offered.
10.It is the intent the swim and dive portions of the meet will meet eligibility requirements as an invitational for state qualifying purposes. Invitational results will be submitted to the AIA per AIA rules by the host team and/or meet director.
Exhibition Entries/ Events: No exhibition events/entries will be offered/available.
Splits: If available & verified as accurate by the meet director and/ or meet referee, lead-off relay splits may be submitted with final results. Copies of relay cards must be submitted to the AIA office along with results for splits to be considered.
Submitting Entries: ENTRIES ARE DUE FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3RD BY 6:00 PM
All entries must be submitted electronically. Paper entries will not be accepted. No late entries or deck entries will be accepted. Payment must precede entries in order for the entries to be accepted. Event Structure: Girls will compete first in the odd-numbered events, followed by boys competing in the even-numbered events. Event heats will be seeded slowest to fastest for all events.

Top 16 Individuals: 20, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
Top 16 Relays: 40, 34, 32, 30, 28, 26, 24, 22, 18, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2
Team awards will be given to the top 3 Boys' teams and top 3 Girls' teams Awards will be mailed

$400 combined male/female team; $250 single male or female team.

•No team tents inside the fenced area
•Team tents may be set up with no spacing outside the facility on the south side
