It’s ukulele & guitar time!
Whether you’re a total beginner or already have experience playing, please consider joining ukulele at CTA Liberty!
Who: 3rd to 6th graders with their own instrument are welcome to join Profe Farmer.
What: A great musical experience is waiting for you. The ukulele is a friendly stringed instrument for beginners. You will learn simple melodies and chords. Singing is encouraged, though it’s not required. If you are already experienced playing the ukulele, you will explore playing more complex chords, strumming patterns and melodies. Students who are already proficient on the ukulele are invited to play the guitar with us.
In addition to having your own ukulele (or guitar), please purchase a capo, which is a clamp that can help you play in different keys. This is especially essential for the guitar, since playing guitar on capo 5 has the same fingering patterns for playing most chords and melodies.
