Special Instructions: This is *Not* a free-building Lego experience. It will be partners working together to build and code basic bots with Blockly coding blocks. This is the club for your student if they want to bring bricks to life through coding. We will be using Lego Bric Q motion kits, Lego WeDo 2.0, and Lego Essentials kits. We will be hosting Fulton’s booth at the Chandler Innovation Fair on Saturday Feb. 21, and your student will have a chance to show off their skills to the entire community!! This is a very popular club and will fill up fast at Fulton. You will be waitlisted and notified if someone can no longer attend if the club is full. There will be clear behavior expectations (Be Kind, Work hard, and Have fun!). If your student does not prefer to work as a team or in partner settings, this is not the club for them as we need to share and partner to get the maximized use of the kits we have available to use. Mrs. Evans reserves the right to remove any students from the club who do not follow the behavior expectations. Next quarter, a free building club will be advertised for less structured building fun! But for now, please register if your child is interested in being part of the fair and learning to program. Thank you!
